What are the paramilitary forces of Pakistan/\?  consist of a variety of uniformed organizations that are endorsed by the Pakistani constitution as well as by the Pakistani government. They are divided from the Pakistan Armed Forces and are accountable for maintaining interior security, helping local law enforcement agencies, and carrying out a diversity of tasks such as border control, counter-insurgency, and counter-terrorism.

CIVIL ARMED FORCES (CAF): CAF units are certified by the Constitution of Pakistan with perimeter security and internal security duties, but can be "regularized" i.e. attached to regular Army as necessary.

The CAF are salaried from the budget of the Ministry of Interior which also provides executive support. However, they are commanded by officers on secondment from the Pakistan Army. The task under the operational control of the army corps headquarters, not just in wartime but whenever Article 245 of the Pakistani Constitution is invoked to pay for 'military assistance to civil power', as in Karachi since 2015, and in Punjab since February 2017.

Pakistan Rangers: A generic expression for two varied organizations, the Punjab Rangers headquartered in Lahore and the Sindh Rangers in Karachi alienated into battalion-sized "wings" of just about 800 men each. This force has a border security role in Punjab and Sindh.

Frontier Corps: The Frontier Corps, like the Rangers, is a common expression for two separate organizations, the FC KP and FC Balochistan. FC KP before the current round of growth consisted of 15 corps in the Province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the former FATA with headquarters in Peshawar. FC Balochistan has 17 corps established in Balochistan with its headquarters in Quetta.

Gilgit Baltistan Scouts: Headquarters are in Gilgit. The Northern Light Infantry was transformed in 1999 from a paramilitary force similar to the Rangers and FC into one of the infantry regiments of the Pakistan Army in credit to their performance and their heavy losses during the Kargil War in which they played a leading part.

Pakistan Coast Guards: The Coast Guards are exciting and mandated with shielding the coastal areas of Balochistan and Sindh Province. It is mostly a shore-based force with a thorough focus on hostility smuggling.

Frontier Constabulary: The Frontier Constabulary operates within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and is accountable for border protection with the former FATA region; dissimilar to the Frontier Corps it is commanded by police officers.

Pakistan National Guard: The National Guard, the military keep of the Pakistan Army, comprised of the Janbaz Force and the Mujahid Force, is charged with air defense. Also included the dissolved National Cadet Corps and Women's Guard.

Maritime Security Agency: The physically powerful Maritime Security Agency, organized and headquartered in Karachi as a coast guard and responsible for patrolling Pakistan's territorial waters as well as the EEZ. The MSA is equipped with a preceding Pakistan Navy destroyer, 2 x coastal patrol craft, and 4 x oceanic patrol craft. It is also considered important to promote and develop as a result of CPEC.

Defense Service Guard: The DSG Corps provides stationary security to MoD and MoDP installations across Pakistan, including highly sensitive nuclear facilities. Its regimental centre is in Dera Ismail Khan. It was known from 1947 elapsed as the MoD Constabulary until its renaming.

Anti-Narcotics Force: ANF is a major agency in Pakistan for hostility supply and demand decrease of illicit narcotic drugs that enter Pakistan mostly through the extended porous border with Afghanistan. The agency mechanism is under the umbrella of the Pakistan Army and the Ministry of Narcotics. 

Airport Security Force: Protection and protecting airports in Pakistan. The former part of the MOD but afterward transferred to the Cabinet Secretariat aviation department.
